WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
Sexual violence against women is nothing new and in fact, statistics, news and testimonials suggest a massive increase in sexual abuse against women... with very little to no support from our societal structure. Victim blaming, situational blaming and slut are common strategies used in our justice system to make women feel that they are somehow responsible for their sexual trauma. In addition, sexual trauma survivors are often not believed, associating them with lying. Time and time again, it is once again proven that women are treated as second class citizens, with no support in their trauma, day to day safety or even coming forth to report their case.

MEET THE TEAM BEHIND NAO
Two friends turned partners in a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing medical, therapy, community and legal resources to sexual trauma survivors. Together, we are hoping to empower survivors as well as provide any and all healing resources that bring them peace. We're not here to tell women what they should do, we're here to offer support in whatever they need to feel safe.
